Eligibility for State and Federal Programs

This edition of Tools to Use is aimed at helping you untangle the complicated world of public health insurance. There are many state and federal programs that provide medical coverage to certain qualified groups of people. The Access Counselors at WAHA have developed several tools to help determine which programs may be available to a client. At whatever level you assist clients in pursuing medical coverage, one or more of the tools outlined below may be useful in directing clients to the right programs.
